Jasmin has completed six years of study at the University of Queensland to attain her registration as a psychologist. She has worked in private practice and in mobile service settings. She presented her post-graduate research on the neuroscience behind detecting emotional disturbance in children’s drawings at the International Congress of Applied Psychology. This research was recently published in the International Journal of Neuropsychotherapy.
Jasmin is passionate about providing early intervention for children and young people, and providing support for their families. She believes that therapy works best when grounded by a sense of safety for young people in therapy sessions, and by focusing on the needs of the client.
Jasmin’s area’s of expertise include emotional issues such as anxiety, trauma, and grief and loss. She provides strategies for tough problems such as anger and behavioural issues. Jasmin has expertise in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Jasmin provides assessment reports and treatment for school aged children through to young adults.
