Lindy is a registered Psychologist with over 22 years’ experience working with clients across the lifespan predominantly in educational, community, private practice and defence force environments. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (1st Class) and Master of Forensic Mental Health. Lindy is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).  Lindy has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues for both adults and young people.



Lindy is committed to building safe, respectful and trusting relationships with all her clients to assist them in achieving goals and positive outcomes in their lives. Individualising interventions to meet the client’s specific needs is always of the utmost importance to her practise.

Lindy’s special interests include working with adults across a range of ages and backgrounds using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.  Her primary focus is assisting clients to develop their awareness and insight in order to better manage anxiety and depression that can arise from significant life stressors, major change and career challenges.  The goal being to develop strengths and learn strategies to achieve a greater work/life balance.  Additionally, Lindy is experienced and skilled in health psychology (i.e. weight management; positive well-being), and forensic psychology. Lindy is able to provide professional advice, assessment and report writing for legal practitioners.


Another key area of interest that Lindy is highly experienced in is working with young people (from age 6 years), including the diagnosis and treatment of those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety and learning disorders.  Her primary focus is helping young people cope with adjustment, depression, anxiety, bullying and emotion regulation by working with them to develop greater emotional regulation and higher degrees of resilience, confidence and self-esteem to achieve positive outcomes at home and school – behaviourally, academically and socially. Parenting support also is pivotal to Lindy’s therapeutic interventions with young people. This includes skills training and guidance with regard to behaviour management, attachment difficulties and family breakdown. She is trained in the administration of Autism Diagnostic Observation 2 (ADOS-2) and is an accredited Triple P Positive Parenting facilitator.
